Sugar soda's taxed?

Every time I think I've seen the stupiest idea there is, along comes one even dumber. If soda's are going to be taxed due to sugar, then they may as well tax kool aid, donuts, Twinkies, cakes, pies and cookies. Even orange juice has sugar in it.

And here I live in MI where some of our prisons were closed because we're broke and can't keep them open. More jobs lost. It hardly makes sense to release violent prisoners due to overcrowding when other prisons are sitting empty.
